501C3 Tax Exempt Status

Emerging from Oppression into Ownership

We Did It!

Urban Legacy is officially a 501C3 Tax Exempt Nonprofit organization according to the Internal Revenue Service! What does this mean for you? Any donations made to Urban Legacy can be deducted from your taxes. Actually, if you have already made any donations to Urban Legacy since January 31st, 2020, those donations are tax deductible as well! Contact president@urbanlegacy.org for additional questions.

What’s next? Now that we are tax-exempt , we are going to accelerate the expansion of Urban Legacy. We are building out our fundraising apparatus to release more programs to the public. We are going to build relationships with corporations to introduce our participants to emerging industries and partner on programs that provide industry ready skills.

Thank You Abundantly!

Thank you to all of the people who have contributed to Urban Legacy applying for our 501C3 Tax Exempt Status! The early days of an organization are the most critical and the period when we need the most support! We’d like to say a special thank you to the following who helped us finance our 1023 application for 501C3 status.

You are now a part of our growing Legacy!

What Have We Done?!

In an age of so many nonprofits and so little progress, Urban Legacy keeps a sharp focus on replacing rhetoric with reality. We will perpetually release new programs in various industries as we build our network of participants. We are excited to build black wealth by facilitating wealth generating programs and activities.
